- Interdental Radiographic Bone Loss (RBL) (present if bone crest is more than 2mm apical to CEJ), or
- Interdental Clinical Attachment Loss (CAL)* (able to see CEJ interdentally)
*purely from PERIO inflammation, not gingival recession of traumatic origin, vertical root fractures, endo-perio lesions, CALoss due to impacted/supra-erupted tooth, cervical decay, or restorations
